SONG OF THE DAY
Dad/Rowdy, have you heard this one? I love it...and remember when you, me and S went to Venice Beach for brunch/beer? This is right where they shot the video. (I'll send you some more song suggestions this weekend xoxo)
FALL MOVIES!!!
I am already behind on my Fall movie list and need to spend some major time in a dark theater next week to see these...
And then, I am beyond excited for these next flicks to hit theaters. (At least I have something to keep me busy in Albuquirky)

I get it
I finally get why people come to and love the southwest, New Mexico specifically. I've been to Santa Fe which is amazing but drive a little further and the landscape is truly majestic. And the sky. The sky is breathtaking. There's a peacefulness and calmness that came over me when I woke up here this morning and it's amazing. Too bad I have to go back to Albuquirky tomorrow.

One year from today...
I will be doing this and I can't wait! Thanks to Rowdy and S...me, Meg, Wilburn, Dabber and J, will all be in Germany next September for not one but two drinking/eating/fun festivals. First, we will be enjoying wine and mayo-drenched pommes frites at Bad Durkheim and then we're all heading to down to Munich for Oktoberfest!
Thanks for the fun postcards to get us all really excited for next year! xoxo
SONG OF THE DAY
Perfect song for Albuquirky. I'm heading up to Taos for a weekend with Janel who is visiting from NYC. I'm actually really excited to get away and see some of the pretty parts of NM.

Could she be any prettier? Be wearing a more perfect outfit? Or have a better color on those supermodel lips? Perfection.

SURI IS SUCH A SPOILED BRAT
And I love it. Hot Stuff just introduced me to the blog, Suri's Burn Book. It is a look at the children of Hollywood from Suri Cruise's point of view. And it is f-ing hilarious. I've never been a fan of the Jolie-Pitt clan and think the Garner-Affleck kids are boring. I always thought Suri was cute but now I love, love, love. (P.S. Guyd, I know that it's not actually Suri writing the blog but I'm really hoping that she is as snobby and spoiled as she is in the posts.)
REALLY TARGET?
Target, I love you. I've always loved you. But this was not cool. I have been waiting for about a month for the Missoni for Target line to hit stores. So, yesterday morning, like everyone else in America, I tried to go to their website to do a little online shopping. No luck. It was so popular that the site crashed. Ok. How popular could Missoni be in Albuquirky? Do they even know what that is, here in the land of bad fashion? Well, apparently, they do. Marc-y Marc and I went to the local store at lunch and the racks and shelves were EMPTY. The only thing I could find were a couple kids sweaters, notecards and this candle (that I bought because I felt like I needed to have at least a piece of the madness). The entire line is sold out eveywhere. Oh well, I heard the quality was beyond crappy. Maybe I'll have to splurge on the real deal.
I THOUGHT IT WAS A JOKE...
When my boss told me that we are about to enter Tarantula season here in Albuquirky. I guess not. There's nothing funny about it.

I fought a bike and the bike won
I went for a run this morning in Central Park and for most of it, I was thinking that I needed to blog and tell Dad, Rowdy, that I passed every, single person on the loop. Amazing run. Strong, fast. Until. And then my cockiness got bit in the ass (as it should). I went to pass a girl who was going far too slow and BAM! COLLIDE! CRASH! Me and Mr. Cyclist had it out and let me tell you, the bike won. A little scraped up, a lot bruised and a bump on the head. But I feel like these road burns can only make me harder, better, faster, stronger.............right?
