If I could be wearing any outfit tomorrow to celebrate Turkey Day it would be this...

Flowy, lots of room to hide stuffing and pumpkin pie yet chic. In reality, I will probably be in my favorite sweatpants, old t-shirt and uggs.

This video is beyond adorable. Not only are the puppies cuter than cute but I love them tearing through one of my favorite places on earth. Although I think Zigs, Nova, Windsor-girl and Duffers could have been the mischievous stars.

Thankful

I wanted to repost this from Rowdy's website, Fighter Pilot University, so we all remember the men and women (especially Dad and S) who make it possible for us all to enjoy a peaceful and free Thanksgiving.


As we all join around the table and give thanks with our families, please pray for our patriots spending the holidays protecting our freedom. Also remember all our military families who sacrafice more than we can imagine, in many ways they have the hardest job of all.  Thanks to all those who have served past, present, and future.  This Toby Keith video says it best.

This is a video I took from the starting line of the NYC marathon. I wish I would have gotten the entire song but I still think it's pretty amazing to see the thousands of runners honoring and cheering for the USA.

26 miles ain't nothing but a Sunday run...

Whew, the NYC marathon is over and I'm a happy girl. It was a gorgeous day and after a 3 hour and 29 minute run, I had a great afternoon and celebratory dinner with LKM, Janel and my Lady.

It's 11-11-11 and that means one thing....I will be leaving for Germany one month from today! And I cannot wait for Christmas markets, weisswurst and gluhwein! Prost!

Missed Opportunities...

I just found this photo when I was cleaning out my inbox> I snapped this pic last summer in Dallas and still regret not entering. But if I'm being honest with myself, I am 100% sure I would not have been crowned Miss Hooters. In all seriousness though, I wish we (Rowdy, SW, Meg, Will) were all there now.
