So, after my amazing trip to the beautiful English countryside, the host of my special, Adrian, drove me into London and dripped me at The Covent Garden Hotel and I spent two days in the city, mostly working, but also doing a little wandering, a little shopping, and quite a bit of wine drinking with my new friend, T.

While LKM was in LA this weekend to celebrate the beginning of Summer, Ziggy decided to get in on all the girly fun. We got cupcakes one evening and of course, an extra tub of cotton candy frosting. After I fell asleep on the couch, LKM discovered the little Zigmonster sneaking a taste...I think he thought he could hide the evidence...
So, I am finally finding time to post about my trip to England. It was fantastic. The first two days were spent seeing "Snow White and the Huntsman," staying in the beautiful countryside, interviewing the cast (including ridiculously handsome Chris Hemsworth), and shooting at a beautiful castle. Not a bad day at the office.
DAY ONE
-the hotel...Goodwood Hotel
On our way to the screening (the shuttle driver got lost and we were an hour late...good thing they held the movie for us)
DAY TWO
On our way to the castle for the junket
Waiting to interview Charlize Theron
The tents for the interviews...Kristen Stewart is on the far right, director in the middle and prince charming was on the left
I had to share a few videos that have recently had me smiling and/or laughing hysterically.
First off, I love this video of the Harvard baseball team. Obviously, a little bored on the game van, these guys prove that they can have just as much off the field as on...and that we all love a great pop song (guilty pleasure)
And then, I love the pop star, Robyn, and this spoof on her video is amazing...(btw, this is the cast of SNL in their offices, probably late one night taking a break from writing the show. how much fun would it be to go to work with these guys every day. dream job)
That's me wishing the greatest dad in the world a very, very happy Birthday! Thank your never ending love and support! I love you SO much, Dad! Have a great day! Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
I love the Beastie Boys...grew up with favs like "You Gotta Fight" and "Brass Monkey." So sad to hear the news that one of guys, Adam Yauch, passed away after a battle with cancer at the young age of 48. Here's some more good ol' Beastie classics (great songs to run to, also)
Yesterday, I booked a ticket to go to Ft. Myers, Florida! Now, normally I wouldn't be so ecstatic about a trip to retirement land but since my favorite person in the world is temporarily "staying" there, I can't wait!!! It is literally going to take me two days, two planes, going over the river and through the woods to get there...but it is going to be worth it to spend a weekend with my little Meg! I am planning on there being lots of beach, cocktails, sushi, movies, wine and generally FUN QUALITY SISTER TIME! I am so excited to see you soon, Meg! LOVE YOU LOTS and LOTS! Oh, and I can't wait to meet my niece, Duffy!
