Does this make me the coyote?

I'm used to running in NYC. I dodge taxi cabs, homeless people and squirrels in the park. But on Saturday, as I ran on a trail in Albuquirky and when I looked to my left, this guy was running right next me. On Sunday, I found some other new running buddies but I didn't have my camera so you're going to have to wait to find out who they are until next week. I'm sure the suspense is killing you.
